Zoe-perry

Perry was born in Chicago to two actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. In the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as seen by flashback), her mother played Jackie Harris in two of Perry's first TV roles. Because of their fear of stress, the parents didn't want to see her pursue acting before turning 18. Perry shy and shy for acting in school, began performing at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Following her graduation, Perry relocated into New York to search for television work landing small roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent However, she was stricken by homelessness and brought her back to California which is where she discovered theater work. Perry was a part of Broadway in The Other Place with her mother in 2013. Her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer prize-winning film Anna Christie alongside her in 2015. Perry played a part in nine episodes on ABC's drama The Family during 2016. Perry played a prominent role in the ABC political drama Scandal which starred her father. The actress also portrayed in the role of a older Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon, a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. The actress was chosen for the role despite having a close family connection to the character.
