Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer and writer, best recognized for her role as Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage artist in a few Broadway plays before breaking through to national prominence with Li'l Abner's debut in 1957. Her album, It's too late for Tina that same year. Louise started her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a drama film. The film was a massive success, and Louise received her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. During this time she joined the Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection with Lee Strasberg as his student. In 1964, she signed to CBS and portrayed Ginger Grant. Louise was able to balance her career between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing more serious characters as in contrast to her portrayal of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently she's also been an acclaimed director of well-known television shows like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on August 28, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and was there ever since.
